I have been an avid animal and nature lover my entire life. From
the daily chore of catching shiners to feed my pet cats at the age
of 7, raising two pet Harbour seals while living on a small island
off the coast of British Columbia before the age of 10, to exercising
horses in Southlands while attending UBC, I have always surrounded
myself with animals and lived a life of joy in their nurturing.
My adult life offered many new experiences. I've
owned several pets
from rescues, purebred Doberman's , a Basenji , parrots, marine fish,
invertebrates and corals in large reef tanks. For 25 years I bred
and raised European Warmblood horses, producing many wonderful
competitors for the Show Ring. I travelled throughout Canada and
the US training and promoting the horses of my Carousel Farms
in Aldergrove, BC.
Today I enjoy my life here at Willowsedge with my Standard Poodles
and the resident Bengal cat. A wonderful, slower pace with more
time to enjoy the gardens while raising the puppies and conditioning
the show dogs. My Poodles are all house dogs and enjoy socializing
with the extended family and patrons of my dance studio.
